Irene M. Snow Elementary
About the program:
Irene M. Snow Elementary School, named after Napa County's first female superintendent, opened in 1959. Originally a one-winged school surrounded by dairies and orchards, it was rebuilt in 2018 to provide a modern campus. With 390 students—89% Latino and 11% Non-Hispanic—the school features 13 general education and 4 special education classes, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. The staff is highly experienced, with 100% deemed "highly qualified" by the State of California. Snow Elementary values community support, with many staff members having enrolled their own children at the school.
