Come Get Some Wiggles Out!
Come play in our yard..a safe indoor/outdoor space full of fun for your little. (Outdoor play will be weather dependent) Every week will be a slightly different set up and theme. Wiggle Play Classes are 90 Minutes. For the new ones needing tummy time, the confident crawler, to the active 3 year old..this class will have a little combination of play for all ages up to 4. Come have fun, get some wiggles out, meet some new friends and enjoy some Barnhouse coffee and Sammycake muffins.

Description: Our goal for our Youngest Artist series is…MESSY MUCKING ABOUT IN ART. We encourage our mini artists to play and explore, exposing them to a variety of media and styles to set their young minds free. Toddlers and their adult studio partners can do some free-form, heavyweight, mixed-media, no-holds-barred creations in 2D and 3D, using paint, ceramics, collage, construction, found objects, and of course a bit of glitter. We want your young ones not only to create, but also to immerse themselves, use all their senses, and experience the moment. A wonderful opportunity to work with your little guys and gals, empower their creative energy and applaud their budding, un-bent sense of style and color.
ALL children must be accompanied by an adult partner and MUST preregister for any classes! No drop-ins please.

The goal of the parade and celebration is to bring our community together, in a new way, to celebrate all that Yountville has to offer during what would normally be a quieter time in town. Spring is a beautiful time in the Napa Valley. Take in the mustard blooms and green hills while enjoying less crowded spaces and crisp air.

Start Smart Teen Driving Education Class (Age 14+)
Start Smart Teen Driving Education Class with Yountville Parks and Rec!
Are you nervous about your teen getting behind the wheel? Then come attend our Start Smart Teen Driving Education Class with your teen to help both of you better understand the safety of the road. Start Smart is a free class offered statewide to current and prospective teenage drivers and their parents or guardians. The two-hour, no cast class discusses important issues such as: tips on how to avoid crashes, safe driving habits, dynamics of a crash, consequences of a poor choice behind the wheel, testimonies of people tragically impacted, parental roles and responsibilities, and legal and civil liabilities.

Sunday Farm Open House plus Wildcraft Kids Classes!
Join us for a Farm Open House, a perfect way for families to spend time outdoors, connect with nature, and see the ranch in action. This self-guided experience allows visitors of all ages to explore the farm at their own pace, observing our animals from outside their enclosures and enjoying a special activity each Sunday.

Family Bike Workshop in Yountville (Age 5-12)
Led by nationally certified bicycle safety instructors, Family Biking Workshops provide kids (ages 5-12) and their parents/grandparents the skills and confidence necessary to ride safely around town and with traffic. We cover proper helmet fit and bicycle maintenance checks, lead on-bike skill-building activities that incorporate traffic law education, and wrap things up with a group ride on local streets to practice our skills. Registration is required; space is limited. All kids MUST bring their own bicycle and helmet. Parents or guardians must be present; they may watch or participate. Those riding with the group MUST also bring their own bicycle and helmet. Seniors with or without children or grandchildren present can also participate.

Join us on our Teen Excursion to Quarry Park Adventure in Rocklin. We will be leaving at 9:15 am from The Napa Park and Ride off of Trancas and returning by 4:30pm. Registration fee includes transportation to and from Rocklin, 3 Hour activity pass to do zip lining, rock climbing, aerial challenge course, and more! Snacks and drinks will be provided on the bus.
Packed lunch and water bottle is required.

Tía Leah’s Neighborhood is a fun and engaging performance that incorporates movement, music, participation, and joy. Tía Leah and her band celebrate diversity and community through storytelling, song, and curiosity to help us think about how each individual impacts the world. Leah is a movement practitioner, medicine keeper, singer and songwriter, mami of two, and advocate for wellness justice.
Family Day runs from 12:30 – 5:00 with food trucks, workshops by local artists, and a variety of activities led by Sonoma State education students for children of all ages. Tía Leah‘s performance begins at 2 p.m. Play Marimba! will perform at 1:30 p.m. The full schedule of activities will be announced closer to the event date.

This February, Yountville Arts invites you to enjoy a fun journey through the Yountville Art Walk with the annual event, Find Your Heart in Yountville. Every weekend in February, beautifully handcrafted, signed and numbered glass hearts will be hidden-in-plain-sight along the Art Walk sculptures, waiting to be discovered and treasured.
This unique event offers an opportunity to enjoy Yountville’s renowned Art Walk while searching for these exquisite, pocket-sized treasures created by Napa Valley fused glass artist Janis Adams. Whether rain or shine, the hearts will be scattered across Town every Saturday and Sunday in February inviting our locals, visitors and the public alike to explore and connect with the art and community.
“This is our third annual Find Your Heart in Yountville and we’re excited to announce an increase in the number of handcrafted hearts hidden throughout Town.” states Ronda Schaer, Yountville Arts Chair. “This year we are scattering 40 glass hearts per day, 80 total for the weekend. What fun to find one to keep and treasure.”
As a special highlight, on Saturday, February 15, keep your eyes peeled for a one-of-a-kind large bright yellow heart. The lucky finder of this special heart will receive a unique prize redeemable at the Yountville Community Center.

Whether rain or shine, the hearts will be scattered across Town every Saturday and Sunday in February inviting our locals, visitors and the public alike to explore and connect with the art and community.
“This is our third annual Find Your Heart in Yountville and we’re excited to announce an increase in the number of handcrafted hearts hidden throughout Town.” states Ronda Schaer, Yountville Arts Chair. “This year we are scattering 40 glass hearts per day, 80 total for the weekend. What fun to find one to keep and treasure.”
As a special highlight, on Saturday, February 15, keep your eyes peeled for a one-of-a-kind large bright yellow heart. The lucky finder of this special heart will receive a unique prize redeemable at the Yountville Community Center.
