Queer Art Club (Age 12-17)

Queer Art Club is a dedicated space for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 12-17 years old to engage with different art forms, find their artistic voice through self expression, and build community with other LGBTQIA+ youth and allies.

This Queer Art Club project is offered in a 3-month format to deepen learning and experience with the art form, with each class meeting monthly every third Wednesday from 6-8pm.

An introduction to Ceramics! From greenware to finished ceramic, participants in Queer Art Club will learn the fundamentals of working with clay. Split into 3 classes over 3 months, we will start on the first day with exploring wet clay and expanding ideas of ‘the pinch pot’ and coil-building into bodily form. The second class we will introduce and apply glaze to our pieces as well as talk about the different methods of firing clay into ceramics. Our last meeting will be a show & tell and demonstration on some ‘cold-finish’ techniques. Through this introduction, students will experience the transformative quality of clay and understand the methods to craft their own ceramic artwork.

75 Years Strong, 75 More to Grow! We're Fundraising for a New Home for Napa Valley Cooperative Nursery School!

It's our diamond anniversary! We are thrilled to invite you to join us at the beautiful Meritage Resort and Spa for a night filled with joy, community, and cherished memories as we celebrate 75 years of serving Napa's youngest and their families and raise funds towards our relocation to a new campus. Read more about our vibrant history as an icon in Napa's storied past, present, and future here.

Mark Your Calendar!

When:  Saturday, May 10, 2025 | 6:00-9:00 pm

Where:  Carneros Ballroom at the Meritage Resort and Spa | 875 Bordeaux Way, Napa, CA

We Are Moving!

We have been located downtown at the Napa Methodist Church for over 60 years.  Soon the Church will be converting our school building into workforce housing.  This is an exciting development for the Church and wider community, but it does require us to find a new home.  At this time of transition, we are seeking financial contributions to support our move to a new campus where we will continue to serve Napa families for years to come.

Through this introduction, students will experience the transformative quality of clay and understand the methods to craft their own ceramic artwork.

di Rosa Art Workshop at the Yountville Library (Age 16+)

Join us for a hands-on art-making series!

Led by artist Terese Edestam, each workshop kicks off with a thoughtful conversation about a selected reference artwork, guided by Hugo Corro, the Associate Director of Education at di Rosa.

In this session we'll draw inspiration from Jeremy Anderson's sculpture: "Wizard of the North." Using differently shaped wooden pieces and paint, we will create a miniature person. Open to all adults (16+), from beginners to experienced artists, this series invites you to explore, create, and share your artistic journey in a welcoming space.
