Intentional Tech Use: Parent Education Opportunity at Blue Oak School.

Join guest speaker Nicki Reisberg for an engaging event on intentional tech use, featuring research-backed insights to help families make safer tech decisions. Nicki will cover key topics including devices, social media, gaming, and AI, sharing stories, expert advice, and tools gathered from nearly 1,000 hours of conversations. Expect practical conversation starters and actionable strategies. Hosted at Blue Oak Lower School Campus.

This event is not recommended for children younger than 10. The presentation will include mentions of the growing suicide rates in youth, sensitive topics like eating disorders and drug use, in addition to several stories of children lost to a social media harm. Nicki will be as respectful as possible in telling these stories, but if you are uncomfortable with your children hearing about these topics, or would prefer to have these conversations in private, please leave them at home.
